“in the end”

a man gone from innocent to dissident
once part of the bundle, surrounded by untold stories
now he finds peace amongst the scattered
life’s theory staying true to his believes

“the majority’s rules has brought so much pain,
no wonder as people, we’re going insane,
take back what is yours and self defend
light up the torch and find your own way to the end”

he’s seen way to many sunsets in his time
streets filled with cardboard coated bodies
holding themselves, having lost every single dime
makes you think.. What’s their story or how happy is their memories

“the majority’s rules has brought so much pain,
no wonder as people, we’re going insane,
take back what is yours and self defend
light up the torch and find your own way to the end”

putting on some clothes, his day starts with a question
will I follow my own lead or follow the suggestion?
the answer in his head brings a smile to his face
why only go one direction, when there’s many journeys to taste

“the majority’s rules has brought so much pain,
no wonder as people we’re going insane,
take back what is yours and self defend
light up the torch and find your own way to the end”

Oscar Pistorius – South Africa

I Live in South Africa, and I’m not one to talk bad about my country cause I love South Africa.. With all its problems. If we lived in a country that had no problems, it would only mean that we not growing as a nation.

We were recently struck by a traumatic event which caused a beautiful young lady to die, by the hands of a what you would normally see as a perfectly normal person. One which has a healthy mind, with decent life references

I’ve been following this traumatic event and its really sad that this happened. Whether it was murder or just an accident. My thought on this are as follow:

I don’t think we have the right or authority to judge and blame #Oscar #Pistorius. I’m not being nasty by putting it this way. Its just a fact, which we can’t re-wind

Life is finding it course and will play out the way its meant to be.

Personally the lesson out of this for me is a question.

“Does what I’m busy with or part of, have the ability or potential to drive me over the edge to a point where I do something that I wouldn’t have done in normal circumstances?”

Has the time not come for us to take a full stop in this rat race we live in right across the world and just revise and reconcile our own personal life’s and destinations we are off to?

Not all choices made in life are beneficial and could be the cause when we snap in a certain situation and throw away everything we dreamed of since the day we were born.

“cash in”

A new day arises, chasing new money
Ill take you down and wash you out
Do what you can, you got nothing on me
Standing in front of you, you don’t know what I’m about

The city rules I know
The jungle rules helped me grow
Go measure again what you brought along
You got a jump start that won’t last long

This is the 20th century
The game is played differently
You think rules
I think where ill place your next injury

Cash in what you hope on
This arena is a place where you don’t belong
Pretending and a little faith is not enough
Forget about playing your bluff

“lyrics to inspire”

This is an old song by Shaggy, but a song guaranteed to always uplift you:

♫♪ No matter how you’re sad and blue ♫♪ There’s always someone who has it worse than you ♫♪ Sometimes you gotta pay your dues ♫♪ So don’t worry just push on through ♫♪ – Shaggy – Keeping it real

“Memories passing through”

As a cool breeze runs down my spine tonight
I can’t stop thinking of you
Counting stars and wondering
Which one it is, that shines a light for you

Stepping inside, food on the table
A plate so colourful, without a hunger to eat
Some people would say this is crazy
To me this house is empty, without you on your favourite seat

Heavens gift I’ve got no doubt that you are
The one reason my heart misses you, when you this far
Red dress? What about the grey, or maybe the blue?
Loved it when my opinions, when getting dressed, was important to you

Banked in a safe deposit box,
memories of me and you
Just a lost soul roaming this earth
Without out direction…without a clue

“A soul’s connection”

Two souls making a promises
without a signature on paper
The one seeing no survival without the other
acting on the moment, no time wait for later

Each one’s needs understood
Creating memories, like names carved in wood
Speeding it up, slowing it down
Cities they pass, leaving a favourite spot in every town

Two things going together
never quite explained
Eye contact, conversation understood
No need to ask, final decisions are the same

Is this what true love is all about
An emotion never ever felt before
Each one living their destiny
Both being each other’s core

“If you would”

Beautiful soul shining a light,
for this dark road ahead
may we be in thread,
I don’t know we might

I have only had trouble as friend
But with a feeling this, I have no fear
that my wounds would be mend
just promise you’ll stay near

a tenderness surrounds me,
why would I want more to see
time here with you, a moment spend
we will see it through till the end

I have a shoulder now
there for me, no matter what or how
seemingly simple at times
moments that will be drawn with lines

feeling like we have no direction
mistakes always have a correction
so tell me what you say
Should we go or should we stay

“The truth inside”

Waking up each day
finding himself in a different engagement
What he wakes up for and live out everyday
can never been seen as a ordinary displacement

He believes in rock n roll,
being real and true
He knows this city’s walls,
so the street corners too

A constant linger down these midnight city streets
not staying long, just grabbing onto the moment
Tomorrow the sun shines and it another day right
Why cry, and kill ya self over a discontinued involvement?

He gets what he wants
A hunger to succeed that never dies
He has seen many masks
outlived them all, figured out all their lies

Take not light the man that he is inside
like polar bears belong in iceland
so his soul belongs in this world
What you see is what you get, nothing to hide
